How to play Dice Duel online for free

Dice Duel is a quick two-dice game where you challenge the dealer and make one strategic choice after the opening roll. A pair beats every mixed hand; otherwise the highest total wins, with the highest single die breaking equal totals.

Choose a virtual-chip stake, roll, then reroll one die, double the stake for a final reroll, or bank the hand you already have. The simulator uses the same shared virtual vault as the other games on VirtualFreeCasino and never involves real-money deposits, withdrawals or prizes.

Dice Duel guide

Rules & Odds

Two fair six-sided dice create 36 equally likely opening rolls. Pairs always outrank mixed hands; mixed hands are ranked by total.

How hands are ranked

1Pairs first

Any pair beats any mixed hand. Pair of 6s is highest, followed by 5s, 4s, 3s, 2s and 1s.

2Then total

With two different dice, the highest total wins. Total 11 is strongest and total 3 is weakest.

3Break a tie

If totals match, compare the highest single die. Identical dice values produce a push.

These total odds count mixed hands only. Pair outcomes are excluded because even a pair of 1s beats every mixed total.

Your decision after the roll

Reroll one die

Select either die and reroll it once at no extra cost.

Double

Add the same amount as your opening stake, then make one final reroll.

Bank

Keep both dice and reveal the dealer's completed hand.

Dealer rule: The dealer banks every pair and mixed totals of 9 or higher. On weaker mixed hands, the dealer rerolls the lower die.

The percentages above describe a fresh two-dice roll, not a fixed RTP. Your chance of winning a complete duel also depends on both later rolls and whether you reroll, double or bank.
